Responsibilities
The Merchant Assistant is a non-exempt position within a business group that serves a specific market segment. The environment in which a Merchant Assistant works is dynamic, often times fast-paced, and as a result, the Merchant Assistant has many time-sensitive duties. Primary responsibilities include daily accounting functions, including contract entry, accounts payable and receivable and final settlements. The Merchant Assistant also is directly involved in logistics and position reconciliation.
Requirements
The successful Merchant Assistant is detail-oriented and comfortable with competing priorities. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Merchant Assistants also will have the opportunity to use a variety of interpersonal and technical skills.
