How We Do It Best.
Stability.
We understand the grain business, tracing our roots to Superior, Nebraska and a grain elevator business operated by George Scoular in the 1890’s. We source products at economical, fair prices because we are an established and trusted grain company.
Origination.
Scoular provides farmers with full-service marketing tools for selling their grain. By contracting production in every major growing region in the US and Canada, Scoular provides end-user customers with a hedge against weather and insect related crop problems.
Transportation.
We understand that transportation is an important aspect of price. Scoular has key relationships with trucking companies, railroads, and barge and steamship lines to secure the lowest possible rates. We also operate an NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) to offer container freight to the market.
Branded products.
We offer our own brand of IP soybeans and corn: US Soya and US Maize.
Liquidity.
We provide spot shipment or forward market prices daily for most grains.
