OMAHA, NE--The Scoular Company reported today that no personal injuries resulted from a minor explosion that occurred late yesterday morning at the company’s grain-handling facility in Grainton, Nebraska. Gary Kearn, Scoular’s Safety and Loss Control Manager, reported that the explosion that was limited to two outside legs of the facility and resulted in relatively minor property damage.

Kearn also said that although no flames persisted following the explosion, the local fire department was called to the scene.  He reported that Scoular will begin to assess the damage today and continue investigating to determine the cause of the explosion.
