| The Scoular Company Names New COO, VP's Previous Senior- Level Managers Promoted as Part of New Company Alignment |

OMAHA, NE- The Board of Directors of The Scoular Company announces the election of Robert Ludington to the position of Chief Operating Officer effective March 1, 2007. Previously a Senior Vice President and general manager of Scoular’s Processor Markets Division, Mr. Ludington is now responsible for Scoular’s operating businesses. The Scoular Company also announces the appointment of Steve Dunn, John Messerich and Jim Konz as Vice Presidents, effective June 1. As of the start of Scoular’s 2008 fiscal year on June 1, the company’s operating businesses have been newly aligned into five principal groups. These operating business groups were formed to bring Scoular businesses closer to their specific market segments and accelerate response time in rapidly changing market conditions. Mr. Ludington, together with the general managers of these five groups, will constitute the operating management team for Scoular. The five general managers include newly named VP’s Dunn and Messerich and previously named officers Chuck Elsea, Todd McQueen and Curt Engel. Konz is promoted from his prior position as Director, Information Technology and will continue to provide general management of Scoular’s comprehensive internal offering of technology solutions. Randal Linville, President and CEO, said, "On behalf of Scoular and our Board of Directors, I am very pleased to have Bob serving in this new role in our company.
