OMAHA , NE – Randal L. Linville, Chief Executive Officer of The Scoular Company, announced today that Robert E. Ludington has been named to The Scoular Company Board of Directors. Mr. Ludington is a Senior Vice President and general manager of Scoular’s Processor Markets Division.

In that capacity, he manages the company’s feed grain marketing in the south central United States, as well as Scoular de Mexico, a Scoular-owned Mexican company that markets and transports large volumes of grain in Mexico. Mr. Ludington has been with The Scoular Company since 1988 and offices in the company’s Overland Park , KS location. Prior to joining Scoular, Mr. Ludington worked for The Andersons in their Indiana and Ohio locations.

Mr. Ludington is a native of suburban Chicago , and is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana with a B.S. in economics. He is a member of the executive committee of the U.S. Grains Council and is on the board of directors of the National Grain and Feed Association. He also serves on the NGFA risk management committee.
