OMAHA , NE – The Scoular Company is pleased to announce that John H. Miller has accepted the position of Managing Director, Emerging Markets. In this capacity, Miller will be responsible for identifying opportunities in evolving and emerging domestic and international grain markets, as well as the development of new market channels for existing Scoular operations. Miller brings to Scoular nearly 20 years of experience in the grain industry, primarily with Continental Grain Company and more recently with Bartlett Grain Company. Miller serves on the executive committee of the National Grain & Feed Association and is a recent past chairman of the North American Export Grain Association.

Scoular has “steadily increased the reach of its grain marketing network and welcomes the addition of Miller in continuing this growth” said John Heck, Senior Vice President in Scoular’s Omaha headquarters. “We look forward to having a concentrated focus on new market opportunities, especially with someone of Miller’s knowledge and experience” said Heck, to whom Miller will report.

Miller and his family will continue to reside in Leawood , Kansas as he will be located in Scoular’s Overland Park , Kansas office.
