OMAHA , NE —The Scoular Company announced the retirement of long-time grain-handling facility manager Dean Jones. After 25 years of service, Jones retired in January of this year. Jones began his Scoular career in 1979 in Archer , NE as general manager of a grain-handling and fertilizer facility that he owned and leased to Scoular. Later, he managed other central Nebraska businesses for Scoular located in Riverdale, Gibbon, and Edgar. In 1994, Jones left his central Nebraska management responsibilities to manage Scoular facilities in Madrid , Grainton, Wallace and Elsie , NE and later also managed those in Hershey and Sutherland , NE. During the last several months of his employment, Jones managed a shuttle train project in Alpena , SD. “After 25 outstanding years with Scoular, we thank Dean for his many contributions to the company and wish him a very happy and well-deserved retirement," said Scoular’s Mark Mossman, a Director located in the company’s Omaha office. Scoular is a century-old agribusiness company supplying grain and feed ingredients throughout North America. |
