Omaha, NE – Marshall E. Faith, Chairman of the Board of The Scoular Company announced that Eric H. Jackson of Stillwater, MN and Stephanie Harlan Skrupa of Omaha, Nebraska were elected to serve on the company’s board of directors at the annual shareholder meeting held last week. Seven other directors were re-elected as the shareholders also voted to increase the size of the board to nine.

Mr. Jackson serves as Senior Vice President and general manager of the company’s Industrial Markets Division (IMD) located in Minneapolis, MN. Jackson ’s responsibilities include overseeing the operations of International Proteins Corporation (IPC), Industrial Food Ingredients (IFI) and TSC Container Freight. Mr. Jackson joined The Scoular Company in 1998 when the company acquired the assets of IPC. At that time, Jackson served as president of IPC. A native of Urbana, Illinois, Mr. Jackson graduated from the University of Illinois. He has served as director of the American Fats and Oils Association and is a member of the International Fishmeal and Fishoil Organization.

Stephanie Harlan Skrupa, a sixth generation Nebraskan whose family has been a shareholder and investor of The Scoular Company since the 1960’s, currently serves as general manager of Skrupa Law Office. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and held a teaching position with the Millard Public Schools for several years. She has served as president of the Millard Education Association and on numerous other district committees. Stephanie has also worked on numerous political campaigns at the local, state and national level. In 2002, she resigned her position with the Millard School system and joined her husband Frank, in opening Skrupa Law Office. Skrupa Law Office is the largest consumer bankruptcy law firm in the state of Nebraska.
