Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a soluble, prebiotic dietary fiber derived from sugar cane. In application, FOS imparts a sweet, pleasant flavor suitable for replacing sugar. It can also function as a texture modifier to improve the mouthfeel of reduced-sugar or fat foods making it ideal for low-calorie formulations.
