OMAHA, Neb (April 10, 2026) — Scoular hosted USDA Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke J. Lindberg at the company’s headquarters on April 7 to discuss biofuels feedstocks and agricultural exports.
During the visit, Scoular leaders noted the company’s investment in a dual oilseed crush plant in Goodland, Kansas. They discussed the many benefits of winter canola to growers and the scalability of the crop to support domestic biofuels expansion.
They also discussed trade issues impacting U.S. agricultural products in key markets.
“We appreciate our conversation with Under Secretary Lindberg. These conversations matter as U.S. farmers increasingly face competition from Brazil and other global producers, ” said Paul Maass, Scoular’s chief executive officer.
“American agriculture feeds and fuels the world,” Lindberg said. “Scoular helps make that happen. From promoting biofuels to creating global grain markets, we’re focused on strengthening demand at home while expanding access abroad—so our farmers and producers can compete and win.”
