OMAHA, Nebraska (Oct. 9, 2025) – Scoular today announced the appointment of four new officers. These new vice presidents are trusted leaders who guide decisions across the enterprise. They lead major business areas or functions at Scoular, translate vision into action, model Scoular values and develop others in the company.
The four new officers are:
Ankush Bhandari, Vice President, Economic Analysis
- Bhandari is a longtime agriculture economist who spent 20-plus years at Conagra and Gavilon (now Bunge) before coming to Scoular in 2026. His data-led approach to market analysis, combined with years of experience, has elevated him to a place with few peers in his occupation.
Jennifer Brewton, Vice President, Human Resources
- Brewton partners with Scoular’s Grain Division leadership to support over 600 employees. She started at Scoular in 2019 after working for Lansing Trade Group (now The Andersons). Known for building strong relationships to support the business, Brewton has more than 20 years of experience in people leadership, human resources operations, and talent acquisition.
Tim Manning, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel
- Manning leads a team that oversees all legal activity in the areas of commercial transactions, M&A, real estate, transportation, capital projects, food safety/regulatory and finance matters for Scoular. Manning blends broad legal expertise with a business-focused, strategic mindset to deliver results for Scoular. Prior to joining Scoular, he was senior corporate counsel at SunOpta.
Billy Shortal, Vice President, General Manager, Eastern Rail Grains
- Shortal joined Scoular in 2021 when the company added an Eastern Rail trade team to extend its reach across the United States. In addition to leading that team, he oversees Scoular’s Lake City, Florida, facility business. Shortal, with 30-plus years of experience, is known for strong people leadership skills and delivering exceptional business results.
