OMAHA, Nebraska (March 18, 2024) – Thirteen students will receive college scholarships through a program funded by Scoular’s CEO Paul Maass and his wife, Julie.
The Paul & Julie Maass Scholarship program launched three years ago to support the children of Scoular and Petsource employees.
Nine $5,000 scholarships and four $2,500 scholarships were awarded this month for the 2024-25 academic year. The recipients are high school seniors or college students. Selection was based on financial need, demonstration of compassion for others, leadership, and GPA.
“Julie and I are grateful to be in a position to support employees’ children in the pursuit of their dreams of earning a college degree,” said Paul Maass. “We hope this support makes a positive impact for each of these fantastic students and their families. Congratulations to this year’s recipients and best wishes for a successful academic year.”
