Scoular’s Perennial symposium returns in 2024 with additional programing for women in agribusiness

OMAHA, Nebraska (March 1, 2024) – Scoular is adding additional events in 2024 to its Perennial virtual symposium for women in agribusiness.

A series of virtual lunch and learns will start this month, followed by a half-day virtual symposium in September. Scoular’s female-focused employee resource group, Scoular Women Influencing Culture, or SWIC, will again host the free leadership and career development series.

More than 250 attendees participated virtually in Scoular’s inaugural Perennial symposium in September 2023.

The virtual lunch and learns are scheduled for:

  • March 28
  • May 29
  • July 11

The half-day virtual symposium will be Sept. 12 and is open to any woman working in the agriculture industry. Topics will include strategic ways to build consensus and innovative ways to fuel individual development plans. It also will focus on how to climb to leadership in the agricultural industry and leveraging technology to unlock career potential.

“Scoular is interested in being a leader for women in agriculture, and part of that journey is about creating spaces where women can obtain skills and resources that will tangibly fuel their careers. We are excited to bring Perennial back for year two and extend our networks and expertise to all women in agriculture for our collective benefit,” said Megan Belcher, SWIC’s executive sponsor.
