Nineteen Scoular grain-handling facilities participated in OSHA’s first annual Stand-Up for Grain Engulfment Prevention campaign.
During the week, employees participated in a stand-down, halting their work for 15 minutes to raise awareness of grain bin safety. Employees also discussed ways to improve worker protection, reduce injuries, and prevent fatalities from engulfment.
