Scoular provides relief funding to Kentucky residents impacted by December tornado

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Jan. 24, 2022) – Kentucky residents impacted by December’s catastrophic tornado will receive assistance thanks to a donation from Scoular. 

The Scoular Foundation has donated more than $20,000 to the American Red Cross and to bourbon industry fundraising efforts that will assist with relief and recovery programs tied to the Dec. 10 storms and tornado. 

Scoular, with more than 125 years in the grain and food ingredient industry, has distilling relationships and assets in Bowling Green and other areas of Kentucky. Through the work of its foundation, the Omaha, Nebraska-based company is committed to supporting the communities around the world in which it operates. 

“Scoular is grateful for the partnerships it has cultivated in Kentucky, and we stand with our neighbors and offer support in this time of great need,” said Bryan Wurscher, Scoular’s Senior Vice President for its Food Division.
