Chief Executive Officer
Paul is the Chief Executive Officer of Scoular and is responsible for Scoular’s worldwide strategic leadership, a role he has held since joining the company in 2016. Paul is also a member of Scoular’s Board of Directors.
Recognized as a leader in the industry and as a board director, he is focused on modernizing core organizational practices and evolving Scoular’s culture to enhance employee engagement and performance.
Prior to joining Scoular, Paul served as president of ConAgra Foods’ (now Conagra Brands) Commercial Foods and Private Brands segments. In that role, he led businesses with total annual revenue of $13 billion, more than 15,000 employees, and 90 manufacturing facilities in seven countries. He also led the creation of Ardent Mills, ConAgra Foods’ milling focused partnership with Cargill and CHS, and served as chairman of the Board for Ardent Mills.
Paul was raised on a farm near Paullina, Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in agricultural business. He serves on Lamb Weston’s Board of Directors, Valmont Industries’ Board of Directors, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Board of Directors, the College World Series Board of Directors, Boys Town National Board of Trustees, the United Way of the Midlands Board of Directors, the Greater Omaha Chamber Board of Directors, Iowa State University Board of Governors, and as a Trustee of The Scoular Foundation.
Paul’s commitment to his wife, Julie, and their three children and their families remains his life’s most important priority.
